The holidays are a wonderful time for a family portrait.  Often families choose to commemorate a shared milestone, and I often photograph families who simply want to celebrate their family with a portrait. You may want an image as a loving couple or as several generations of family come together. I create an atmosphere where you can have fun and really be in your element so you can get wonderful, fresh images that are alive with spirit.  These are truly beautiful formal portraits and casual portraits your family will love.

Tailored Digital Shoot
You are one of a kind—and so your photo session is tailored to you.  I shoot digitally, so we can review the shoot as we go.

The ‘Sky Studio’
I shoot in my studio—the “sky studio” which is lush with natural light, and I include a mix of studio light to create all kinds of moods. I bring a strong creative eye to the session, capturing unique artistic images that go beyond the scope of traditional portraits.

I welcome your ideas for the shoot. Through a free consultation we'll discuss the many possibilities.

Location Shoots
I shoot in my studio or at a location you choose. You may want to set the portrait in your home or in beautiful open space such as the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. A dynamic location, and one that has meaning for you, can really add to your portrait.

Hair & Make-Up
I work with wonderful stylists whose rates range from $150 for initial styling at the beginning of the shoot to $200 for styling throughout the shoot.

Pricing
Shoots start at $500.

Prints
A beautiful variety of the highest quality prints is available.  From museum-quality, archival Giclée on watercolor paper to canvas prints to standard prints, you have wonderful choices to make.
